Sam Jouda |
| |
Sam Jouda is new to the Advisory Board from Bakersfield, Calf. He brings a fresh outlook and new ideas to the organization.
He started in the gas business in 1989 when he aquired an Exxon Gas Station and Convenience Store.
Since that time the business has grown to 7 stations with the arrival of other family members to help with the expansion. Besides the Exxon station, he has 3 Chevrons and 3 Fast Strips.
He has been a PBD member for 3 years and has seen his business increase from 9 to 14% because of the PBD program.
The biggest increase has been in the tobacco and beverage categories.
He is looking forward to more success this year with the help of Power Buying Dealers.

John Meeters |
| |
John Meeters was born in the “Windy
City” of Chicago and moved into the “Sin City”
of Las Vegas that he calls home. He has been in the convenience
store industry since 1965 and was elected to the PBD West
Dealer Advisory Board in 2000. John has been very instrumental
in shaping the direction of PBD West by being very involved,
very vocal and very focused on what needs to be done in
building a partnership between the vendor community and
the PBD Network.
As a manager of two major convenience stores in Las Vegas,
he has been an active participant in the business community.
He has earned the respect of his fellow dealers and the
vendors as well. He just recently switched his supplier
from ExxonMobil to Sinclair and he seems to be very happy
with the outcome and the results.
PBD West is very pleased to have John Meeters on their
side to beat their drum when it is needed and slap their
hand to keep a steady growth and maintain the concept
as intended to make the PBD member the most profitable
in the industry. |

Mona Chahayed |
| |
Mona Chahayed has been a member of PBD
West for the ten years that she has been in business.
She was appointed to the Dealer Advisory Board in 1999.
Mona took over her husband’s business, unfortunately it had been run poorly, but she has worked very hard to make it profitable.
She has gained the respect and the admiration of the ExxonMobil
management at large. After trading her location
for a bigger, better and more profitable due one to her
diligence, hard work and her knowledge of the business,
she then expanded by adding an additional location that
she also managed well. Mona takes pride in her business
and it shows in the results.
In the meantime, she has raised five young men and women,
individuals to be proud of. Mona is known in the community
as everyone’s mother. She is a savvy business woman,
active member of the community, and when Mona talks, everyone
listens.
She has helped and encouraged PBD West to go forward in
their mission to make the ExxonMobil dealer the most profitable
in the industry. |

Tony Nasrallah |
| |
Tony Nasrallah has been an ExxonMobil franchisee
and PBD West member for seven years. He was selected to
serve on the PBD West Dealer Advisory Board in 2001 and
has been a great supporter and participant of the PBD
West program. He believes that every single franchisee
should be a member of PBD West to reap the benefits and
take advantage of the many services offered: including
lower cost of goods, rebates, new innovative concepts,
fixtures, and quick service.
Tony was born in Lebanon and immigrated to the United
States to pursue his education and the American dream.
Tony worked in the hotel industry, which is very intense
service driven prior to acquiring his own business that
also requires a person who is familiar with customer service
and understand and value the quality of service demanded
by today’s consumer.
Tony is a full time operator of his station and knows
all the details of the day-to-day business and the burden
of every franchisee operating a business. He thinks PBD
West is the answer to all of his fellow dealers, struggling
to make a living in an ongoing, changing industry.
