WEST |

PBD West is a marketing company
representing ExxonMobil dealers in the Western United States.
PBD West manages all of its members’ categories, products and
services, negotiates on their behalf and creates marketing
and promotional programs aimed at improving sales and
profitability. PBD West also secures all competitive marketing
allowances in the form of rebates, flex funds, shelf payments,
display allowances, etc., and distributes the amounts due
to members. |

Grey Market tobacco products will jeopardize the retailers’ relationships with the tobacco companies. Contracts will be cancelled; all rebates and promotions will be suspended.
Tobacco companies are filing charges and pursuing legal action under the statutes of the law, where civil penalties may be imposed.
All PBD members and their employees should be vigilant, watch out for suppliers selling premium low price cigarettes, and immediately inform the authorities should they encounter any contraband products.

a presence in Northern and Southern California;
Nevada; Arizona; Texas; Louisiana; and Florida. |

PBD West works in conjunction
with PBD Midwest (headquartered in Chicago, Illinois
with a territory that extends throughout the Mid-Western
States) and PBD East (headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts
with a territory that reaches from Virginia to Maine). These
three groups work together to service ExxonMobil dealers from
coast to coast, and under this umbrella they form PBD USA, a
national corporation. All three regions operate independently
and exclusively service the network of ExxonMobil dealers
within their own territories, but also work together to secure
vendor programs and funding on a national level.

PBD West will negotiate, coordinate and implement programs acting as a liaison between the vendors and dealers to ensure effective execution of marketing programs and to eliminate the burden on each individual member to develop and negotiate their own programs with numerous vendors. Most importantly, PBD West collects monies owed and distributes the funds due to members in a timely manner. This usually takes the form of one lump sum check made out to each retailer, accompanied by detailed itemized statements. |
